Bravo unveils ‘biggest transformation’ in broker network trading for two decades

Accelerating the evolution of credit decisioning and modelling

Bravo has hailed its latest launch as “the biggest transformation” to how broker networks add value for members in the past 20 years.

The new Accelerator initiative – a suite of data-, trading- and service-driven tools – was unveiled to delegates attending the Bravo Networks annual conference at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham this morning.

Accelerator’s primary tool – Bravo Insights – focuses on placement-consolidation opportunities on a case-by-case basis. The network claims the “data-driven, appetite-matching service gives unprecedented insight to support network members by creating a placement plan”.

It added Bravo Insights will also support members in meeting the Financial Conduct Authority’s requirement for brokers to have a clear placement strategy.

For strategic insurer partners, Bravo added Insights offers “a more efficient route to trade with local or community brokers and the opportunity to improve service with the higher quotability and better alignment to core strategy that appetite matching offers”.

Other components available today include Bravo Navigator, aimed at opening up markets for corporate and mid-market risks; Bravo Specialisms, which looks to improve access for members to Ardonagh Group specialisms and schemes; and the Bravo Personal Lines Hub.

In the summer, Bravo plans to roll out Bravo Digital Trader, an e-trade solution for less complex and lower value commercial lines business, which represents approximately 80% of Bravo Networks’ members cases.

Functionality upgrades

Thereafter, Bravo said a programme of quarterly upgrades will take place as the functionality is extended.

Scott Bennett, managing director of Bravo Networks said: “Bravo Accelerator is the biggest transformation to how networks add value across the market in the last twenty years. Accelerator will empower member brokers and Insurer partners alike.

“Our members join us because they want to be part of something bigger – to connect, learn and take advantage of everything the Network offers.

“To secure the biggest possible influence in the market, they need to work with our strategic Insurer partners to consolidate their books, driving strength in numbers to get the best outcomes for themselves and their clients.”

David Enoch, head of strategic broker relationships, marketing and propositions for NIG added: “NIG are delighted to support Bravo Networks with their new and exciting Accelerator programme.

“We see this initiative as an opportunity to get even closer to Network members, utilising the data provided from Insights to unlock business within our underwriting appetite, and developing new platforms via Digital Trader, where quite simply, we can trade together more efficiently and effectively, and grow our respective businesses.”

The Bravo Accelerator programme is available to network members alongside their existing services for no additional charge.
