Insly launches no code sales software for brokers

disruptive technology

Software provider Insly has rolled out BrokerFlow, designed to enable brokers to digitise their sales workflow including application forms, risk surveys, and customer proposals.

Best known for its managing general agents platform Insly first targeted the UK insurance market in 2016 when it raised around £750,000 from angel investors.

Last year, the CEO of Insly, Risto Rossar, told Insurance Age that schemes brokers and MGAs should not rely too heavily on their capacity provider’s IT systems and keep their doors open to new partners.

Coming from an insurance background, Insly understands the industry better than most software providers.

The firm updated that BrokerFlow helps brokers streamline sales as it highlighted the current practice of creating proposals for customers and risk surveys for insurers, before presenting several insurer quotes along with their recommended option.

Insly noted that many brokers still create these documents manually using a combination of Word, Excel, PDF and email, which it argued can be time-consuming and lack standardisation across a business.

The firm listed that the digitisation stretches across customer application forms, gathering quotes from insurers, proposal documents, the quote acceptance process and for generating renewal forms.

Code

According to Insly, its low/no-code setup has been designed for non-IT professionals and makes “digitisation easy, enabling brokers to implement systems or make changes without extensive IT development time or specialist skills”.

It detailed that through built-in APIs BrokerFlow can integrate with existing CRM, policy administration and finance systems, updating all relevant documents automatically, which Insly flagged could help with compliance.

The tool can also connect to third-party data sources to make form filling quicker and easier.

Critical

Rossar said: “Coming from an insurance background, Insly understands the industry better than most software providers.

“We have already been supplying brokers in Eastern Europe for nearly 10 years, and we wanted to combine this expertise with our no code capabilities, which are already well established in the global MGA market.

“The result is BrokerFlow, enabling brokers to rapidly digitise a key area of their workflow, which is critical to generating sales, driving growth, and ensuring happy customers.”
