The annual Insurance Age Top 100 Independent Brokers Supplement, which lists the top commercial brokers in the UK, has been published for 2021.

In addition to our broker rankings, the listing also features an expert analysis of how the market has changed since last year, from PKF Littlejohn.

There is also an in-depth exploration of how the M&A landscape has affected broking in the last 12 months from acquisition specialists IMAS.

GWP
This year the bandings run from £12m to £750m+ and it was another year of growth with participating brokers reporting a collective GWP of £9.5bn.

The research, sponsored by Applied, also found that there had been 187 acquisitions made by the Top 100 brokers in the past 24 months.
