Arc Legal Group launched

running together

The organisation merges AmTrust underwriting and Legal Insurance Management with Arc Legal Assistance.

Arc Legal Assistance, part of the AmTrust Financial Group, has completed the integration of recent acquisitions Legal Insurance Management and AmTrust Underwriting, to create a united business, Arc Legal Group.

The combined group manages over 23m insurance policies and writes in excess of £70m net written premium across all product lines. It offers a range of bespoke ancillary insurance products including accident & health, legal expenses insurance and assistance products including home and motor breakdown.

Range

According to Arc Legal Group, the new corporate entity allows partners, including brokers, to consolidate their insurance propositions and offer clients a wider range of specially tailored products and value-added services delivered by teams of experts located throughout the UK.

Frank O’Malley, CEO of Arc Legal Group commented: “Arc Legal has long been established as a market leader in legal expenses insurance. Now, thanks to the acquisition of a number of complementary businesses over the past two years, and an extended period of significant growth, we can fulfil our ambition to become the go-to provider for a whole range of ancillary products and services.

“Our completely flexible approach to developing bespoke products, and ethos of continuous innovation enables us to work closely with providers to create full-service products and services, not available anywhere else.

“We are excited that the new Arc Legal Group is open for business, and we are looking forward to our official launch party at Biba in May.”

Hub

Grady Womack, head of AmTrust International Fee Businesses, added: “In bringing together complementary businesses from across the ancillary market we have created a powerful corporate entity, committed to leading the market in providing a full range of innovative, future-proofed solutions delivered by experts.

“The new Arc Legal Group will be a hub for ancillary services, helping brokers and insurers to find and deliver the right products for their clients’ needs.”
