Consolidator brings North County Brokers, based in Balbriggan in County Dublin, into the fold ahead of the rebrand of its Irish operations to Aston Lark Ireland in April.

Aston Lark has bought Irish broker North County Brokers for an undisclosed sum.

The deal is Aston Lark’s fourth this month and follows its purchases of brokers Venture Insurance and Bruce Stevenson and managing general agent Magenta Insurance.

The consolidator noted that North County Brokers was established in 1999 and is based in Balbriggan in County Dublin.

It offers advice to businesses across a broad range of insurance and risk management services and specialises in sectors including technology and communications, manufacturing, import and distribution, and motor trade.

Ireland
Aston Lark first entered the Irish market in January 2019 when it bought Dublin-based Robertson Low. This was followed by its purchase of Irish broker Wright Insurance Brokers with offices in Wexford and Carlow in December 2019.

The business confirmed that North County Brokers will initially be brought into the Aston Lark Group under Robertson Low.

However, it detailed that this is a temporary arrangement as Robertson Low and Wright Insurance Brokers will be rebranded as Aston Lark Ireland in April 2021.
